Year 6 - Mrs Messenger

Hello and welcome to the Class 6 page!

This is where you will find all the information you need to know about what we will be doing in Year 6 each term. There are lots of things to look forward to.

We shall be brave, strong and fearless as we are stretched and challenged in our learning, enjoy an exciting curriculum, interact with visitors to the classroom and visit new places outside of school. There is so much to look forward to this year, including: being stretched and challenged to our limits, an inspiring and engaging curriculum, exciting trips (including a trip to Llanrug!) and an end of year production.

Our P.E. afternoons are on a Thursday and a Friday.

Homework will be given out on Fridays and due back the following Tuesday.

Each week there will be maths homework linked to key arithmetic skills that children need to secure in Year 6.

Each week there will be a grammar activity or a reading activity, again linked to key skills that the children will need to secure by the end of Year 6.

Children need to read each night. We are also asking that all children complete 3-minutes of Times Table Rock Stars daily.
